How to Customize Your Status Labels
SmartCert lets you rename statuses to match the words your team already uses. To make these changes, you'll need admin permissions.
Follow these steps:
- Click your user icon in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Click "Subscription" in the left panel
- Click "Company," then "Settings"
You'll now see the full list of statuses. Click any status to rename it. You can also add sub-statuses underneath it to give your team more options when tracking work.
A few tips:
- If a status doesn't apply to your workflow, you can either leave it as-is (your team can just ignore it) or clear the name so it won't appear as an option
- Sub-statuses are great for breaking down bigger workflow stages into smaller steps your team can track
