Link a SmartCert to the lot file in INxSQL

Quick guide to linking existing SmartCerts to the lot file in INxSQL

INxSQL customers can either copy a cert from an incoming supplier or create a brand new SmartCert and connect it to a lot in INxSQL. When that lot gets picked for a shipment, SmartCert handles the rest automatically.

Once you've updated a supplier cert or built your own SmartCert for a lot, linking it to INxSQL only takes a few steps:

  1. Copy the lot number from INxSQL for that part.
  2. Open the SmartCert in edit mode and paste the lot number into the Lot Control field.
  3. Click Save SmartCert.

That's it. INxSQL will connect the SmartCert to the lot and pull it automatically for any customer shipment where that lot is picked.
