# Missing QR code or link to certs

## Learn how to access your cert package if you’ve lost or can’t locate a QR code or link to certs.

#### Overview

Some suppliers send cert packages using a QR code or link for quick access. If you no longer have your QR code or link, you can still retrieve your certification package directly from SmartCert.

#### Steps

1. **Check your Received dashboard.**  
   For most suppliers, SmartCerts are automatically uploaded to your **Received** dashboard. You’ll also receive a notification in SmartCert and in your **Daily Summary email** when new certs are added.
2. **Use the Request feature.**  
   If the certs were not automatically delivered and you no longer have a QR code or link, you can send a request for the certs using SmartCert’s **Request** feature.

The QR code is designed to keep certs physically linked with parts, making it convenient to review documentation in warehouses, on job sites, or during assembly.
