Understanding SmartCert statuses on the Received dashboard

When supplier certs come in, SmartCert tracks where things stand using statuses on the Received dashboard. Here's what each one means:

Received The cert has arrived but hasn't been opened yet. Think of it like an unread email sitting in your inbox.

Viewed Someone on your team has opened the cert, but no action has been taken on it yet.

Approved The cert has been reviewed and accepted. It's ready to use for shipments.

Changes Required Something in the cert needs to be corrected before it can be approved. When you set this status, head to the Conversations tab to let your supplier know exactly what needs to be fixed. Updates happen in real time, so you'll see changes as soon as your supplier makes them. SmartCert also keeps a full version history, so you always have a record of what changed and when.

Keeping an eye on these statuses makes it easy to see which certs still need attention and which ones are good to go.
