Understanding SmartCert statuses for Requests

Quick Guide to cert statuses on the Requests dashboard: See the status of every request (sent or received) at a glance

When you create a request for certs or receive a request from your customer, you and your team can track progress using statuses. Keeping an eye on these helps stay on top of what's pending, what's in progress, and what's done.

Here's what each status means:

Created The starting point for any newly created SmartCert Request. It has been sent to the Contributor but hasn't been acted on yet by the supplier.

In Review The Request is currently being reviewed by another team member.

Information Requested More details are needed before the Request can be completed. Check the Conversations tab to reference the details internally.

Item Received The physical item tied to this SmartCert has been received.

Item Shipped The item has shipped.

Changes Required Something needs to be corrected. Use the Conversations tab to communicate what needs to be updated. 

Approved The Request has been reviewed and accepted.

Request Complete The Request has been fulfilled and closed out.

Canceled The Request has been canceled and is no longer active.

These statuses work the same way whether you're managing a SmartCert you created or tracking a cert request from a customer.
