What are Policies for, and how can I change them?
The Policy System provides granular control over how both internal and external users can use SmartCerts, ensuring all actions align with your company's guidelines. This is accomplished by creating policies that trigger around specific business actions. When a policy is triggered it will check that all conditions applied to it pass in order for the action to be allowed.
Policies are rules that are checked before a user can complete an action. This includes all policies created by the system, the owning company, as well as policies that are tied to the acting user.
To create a Policy, select "Policies" under the Company Name at the top of the screen.
From there, new policies can be created by selecting the “Add Policy” button.
